Survive and Conquer...

I made it out of the crevasse!

Here I am celebrating at "Cut It Out" summit.

I didn't see any pumas or St. Bernards, only fuzzy red flowers and ferns and other odd looking plants. Most of the cutting is done. Today I will start putting the slipcovers together. I mentioned in a previous post, about leftovers, that I don't like to throw scraps away, but I do make exceptions.

Two of my favorite tools, my Omnigrid ruler and my lightweight Wiss scissors from a yard sale. I haven't been able to find another pair like them.

And you emerged from that mountain trek looking so cute in your little skirt and top. That's always important. Do you get that blister on your pointer finger from cutting all that heavy fabric? Then you deserve a glass of wine, too.

No blister, I must be calloused.

You reached the fabric mountain summit and came out alive and as Vallen pointed out you look so cute in your little skirt and top. The right pair of scissors is crucial... but you make all these cuts without a wheel! Holy Moly. Is there an award for that? There should be.

So glad you made it out. I totally understand about not keeping those scraps!

I won my first pair of weiss scissors, lucky for me in two ways...1) a new pair of my own scissor
2) I found that all scissors were not
created equal
Katie, The things that we have in common KEEP coming up!! I made several dolls very similiar to yours when Caitlin was younger, I have one (Caitlin"s) left.
I love your sense of humor!! Did you ever read Ermma Bombeck's books?
Have a great weekend!
